Smell

There exists an unfathomable number of different smells throughout India and while some of them pamper your senses, others wildly assault them.  Most of the time, they are all mixed together.  The combination of odours coming from sewage, animals, clothing, shoes, human sweat, jasmine flowers, fruits, disinfectant, diesel and Indian cooking create a distinct smell that cannot be described or replicated.
