Sound

The sounds of India are filled with the hum of Bollywood tunes, celebratory beats and rhythms, calls to prayer and unrelenting car horns.  This mix of sounds creates an atmosphere of rich cultural activity, livelihood and hope.  Musicians perform with an extraordinary passion and the chanted prayers possess a haunting quality.  In this section, I have accompanied the images with small sound clips gathered during my time in India.
